Widow Welfare

In 2002, we formulated a rehabilitation programme for Most Deserving Widows on the basis of survey & subsequent verification process, titled Widow Welfare Programme (WWP). The beneficiaries are provided Food Grain Kits containing food grains, edible oil, sugar, tea, soap, detergents, etc on two monthly basis besides cash assistance. Under this programme, 539 widows benefited incurring an expenditure of over Rs 21.00 Lacs, during year2012-13.
